Loyalty Card and Pensioners Discount

What do they offer?

Our loyalty cards entitle our customers to 4 points for every pound spent per transaction (1 point = 1 penny). These points have no expiry date and can be redeemed at any time with no minimum or maximum redemption limit. Points can be redeemed on all purchases with the exception of vouchers, sheds, eden greenhouses.

We also offer a pensioner discount every Tuesday of 10% off everything excluding sale items/multibuy promotions, vouchers, sheds and eden greenhouses. To qualify for this you simply need to be claiming a state pension and disclose this to the staff at the tills.

Upon making a purchase, provide the cashier with your loyalty card to be scanned and the points for the transaction will be added after tender. If you do not have your card to hand your details can be taken to find your account and have the points added for you.

When making a purchase, provide the cashier with your loyalty card and request that the points be used towards the transaction. The cashier will mention how many points you have to use before committing the redemption. If you do not have your card to hand we will be unable to redeem any points but can still accrue them for the purchase by taking your details.

Simply ask our staff at the tills. We will then provide you with a loyalty form to fill in there and then or to take away to complete at your own convenience. Upon completing the form you will be provided with a loyalty card ready to start using straight away. If you qualify for the pensioners discount when applying for a new card, this discount will take up to 2 weeks to be allocated to your card. In this time be sure to mention that you qualify for the pensioners discount when making a purchase and a manual adjustment will be made on your purchase for the discount.

We allow dogs in the garden centre as well as the outdoor seating area for the café, however we do not allow dogs in the indoor seating area of the café with the exception of service dogs. Dogs are required to be on a lead and cleaned after.

Currently we do not offer an online service for ordering goods, however we are able to take orders over the phone to be delivered locally. You will need an account/loyalty card with us to place an order. If you do not have one we can create a basic one using the delivery details over the phone at the time of ordering. We take card details for payment which we properly dispose of upon completing the purchase.

Your legal rights: 

When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer.  These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind.  Please return the unused goods to us with the original till receipt within 14 days and we will offer you an exchange or a credit note.

Unfortunately, Top Pets closed its doors in September 2024 and we do not sell pets at Sandhill. However, we do have a modest pet supply section at Sandhill for the essentials and toys.

We do not sell rolls of real grass turf. We do however stock Verdegrass (artificial turf) off the roll and sold by the half meter as well as the option to order from the supplier for you.

Yes! We have our own Sandhill Garden Centre vouchers which can be purchased in multiples of £5. We offer HTA (Horticultural Trades Association) national garden centre cards which can be topped up with any value between £5 and £250 a piece. Please note these vouchers do not qualify for our loyalty scheme discount or points accrued/redeemed. Points can however be accrued when using these to make a purchase. Vouchers can be purchased at the tills in store.

Yes we do in the main entrance. We have 4 wheelchairs available for use on a first come first serve basis, however it is exceptionally rare that all are in use at the same time.
